Methodology
Childcare Little People aims to stand out from the competition by offering small-scale childcare and out-of-school care. This allows more room for personal and loving attention for each child.
This is why we operate on the following principles:
A second home for your child
Every child is unique and needs support to discover himself and the environment. The basis for this is a small-scale, familiar environment. Clear boundaries and sufficient attention to a step-by-step development into an independent individual. This is our vision of childcare. In everything we do, we apply the following core values:
Homeliness
It is most important to us that your child feels at home at Little People Childcare. That is why our locations are homely. We have a cosy living kitchen, a playroom and a cosy sitting area. When furnishing and purchasing all furniture, toys and appliances, we take into account that the products have been tested for safety.
Loving
The leaders have a warm heart for children. They enjoy working at childcare Little People because we really give them the time to give individual attention to each child. That is why we do not work with large groups and why there are more than enough leaders in the daycare and BSO programmes. Kinderopvang Little People also trains staff with a passion for children, which we deploy on a temporary basis.
Respectfully
Every child has a unique character. Our leaders are trained to give each child the individual, specific attention they need and treat them with respect.
Structure
We believe it is most pleasant for children when there is structure in the day. Regularity gives clarity and prevents disappointment. At set times, they play, eat and rest. This does not yet apply to young infants.
Cooperation with parents
Parenting is something you do together! That is why childcare centre Little People values the opinion and input of parents. We seek cooperation with parents in various ways. At the same time, we identify developmental issues early on and discuss them with parents. Where necessary, we offer extra support in consultation.
During the daily handover, you can ask questions briefly and we provide information about the day's progress. If you have questions that go deeper into your child's well-being, we will be happy to discuss them at a quiet moment. You can always make an appointment for this through one of our staff members. During an annual meeting, we evaluate the past year and agree with you on what development and talents we will stimulate in the coming year.
