Rachel

Hello,

My name is Rachel, I am married and a mother of 3 children. From September 2019 to the end of 2021, I worked as a trainee at Little People playgroup 't Hummeltje. Since the beginning of 2022, I have been employed and work 2 half-days (Tuesday and Friday).

My interest in working with toddlers started when my eldest daughter started attending preschool in 2017. Not long after, I started my training as a 'Specialised Pedagogical Assistant' and stopped working as a veterinary assistant. I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and am happy to now work here within a fun team and many toddlers!

Every working day is another celebration with the children. I love seeing the children grow in their development and being able to support them. Every child is different and is allowed to be themselves. I think it is important that every child feels comfortable and safe with us. You really build a bond with each child. I always enjoy working here!
