Mirte Muller - Member on behalf of KDV Wildheuvel

My name is Mirte and I grew up in Best. Together with my boyfriend Myron, I lived in Zaandam until August 2023, where our eldest daughter (06-2022) also went to childcare. Because of my job in Eindhoven, we moved (back) to Best and now my two daughters (#2: 08-2024) attend childcare at Little People, location Wildheuvel. They really enjoy it there.

We are happy to have found such a nice place for the girls. We both work as trainee medical specialists in the hospital (long days/shifts), even simultaneously finding ourselves on the other side of the Netherlands (Amsterdam/Maastricht) at the time of writing: A challenge. We, but therefore also the children, make many and long days. Then a small-scale care is nice to think of with us, for example.

I have been on the parents' committee since 2024. I like to bring my experiences from the periphery to give suggestions for improvement. In doing so, I strive for a healthy, but also pleasant environment for (my) children. For instance, we recently recommended offering healthier spreads on bread, which has since been successfully implemented. I also make my voice heard from parents whose children spend many and/or very long days at childcare. Although my first suggestion would be to have a word with Claire and/or Debbie; they are approachable.
