Lonneke

Hello,

My name is Lonneke and I have been working at Little People since June 2018.

Before working in childcare, I worked in disability care for 17 years. Here I worked in different groups. While working, my vision was to always do so from a warm heart in a safe environment.

After 17 years, I was ready for a new challenge in my life and Little People came my way. A small-scale organisation in which I found this warm, safe feeling. I felt welcome from day 1.

I really enjoy working with the children and go to work every day with great pleasure. It is beautiful to see how the children are allowed to develop themselves at their own pace and I find it a great honour to be able to contribute to this.

For me, it is important to work with parents to see how I can best care for their son/daughter. Good contact, including open communication, helps with this.
