What does the Startblokken of Basic Development (VVE) course entail?

It is a pedagogical work plan (VVE) to support the broad development of babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the best possible way. It aims not only to provide language and maths exercises, but also to find touch points in young children's play development.

In play, guided and directed by the pedagogical staff and teacher, lie the best opportunities to provoke and stimulate language and thinking. Meaningful play activities provoke children's interest, enthusiasm and active involvement. The prerequisites for the continuous development of young children!

In Startblokken of Basic Development, children participate in play activities and explore interesting current themes. It is a goal-oriented approach that matches what most young children themselves want: to "grow up", participate in the world around them and, of course, learn a lot and remain curious. The professionals consciously direct learning and development processes.

Broad development is paramount. Social competence, language development, cognitive development (including arithmetic and mathematics), motor development and personal independence reinforce each other. In Basic Development, this interconnectedness is clearly indicated and elaborated in goals.
