Toddler playroom 't' Hummeltje joins Little People.

From January 2016, 't Hummeltje can continue as normal, but under the care of Little People.

Debbie Beunis, owner of childcare Little People, is happy to continue offering toddler play in this way. Debbie: "Toddler play is for children aged 2 to 4.

For children who do not attend day care, but whose parents find it important that they come into contact with other children, 't Hummeltje is a perfect place. This is because the objective is to create optimal development opportunities by offering versatile and appropriate play opportunities. Here, children learn to play together and to be considerate of each other. They learn to express themselves with song, dance and materials and play in an environment where language plays an important role.

Like Little People, 't Hummeltje works closely with Basisschool de Paersacker. Debbie: "This way, we form an Integral Child Centre together. This is a huge advantage for every child. This way, the child is followed from a continuous development line. This makes the transition from day care or playgroup to primary school easy and takes place in consultation with the school management. The cooperation between De Paersacker, 't Hummeltje and Little People runs very smoothly and you notice that in the atmosphere everywhere."

The group employs several professionals who are additionally VVE-certified. (Early childhood education to prevent developmental delays).
All professionals continue to work at 't Hummeltje under the direction of childcare Little People. Ingrid van Noort is one of the professionals. Together with Rian Raaimakers, Miranda van der Steen and Betty Meijer, she enjoys working at 't Hummeltje. Ingrid: "We are happy to have the opportunity to continue our work with childcare Little People. Little People is a professional organisation and sees the importance of toddler play well."

Practical information

Peuterspeelzaal 't Hummeltje is located at Johannes Verleunstraat 29 in Best and housed in the school building of IKC Basisschool de Paersacker.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday between: 08:45 - 11:45 and 13:00 - 15:00. A few places are still available.
