Debbie

Dear parent,

Thank you for meeting us online. I would like to introduce myself to you.

I am Debbie Beunis and come from England. I was director of a childcare organisation there for 15 years. By meeting my husband Arie, I moved to Best.

In 2000, I started Childcare Little People in my own cosy home. This was later joined by BSO Next Step.

Typical traits I like to impart are loving and respectful interaction and structured, hard work. I have received ongoing training in childcare areas such as: 'social skill', 'spotting various conditions such as ADHD, autism' and 'dealing with vulnerable children'.

Because of the professional, warm way we offer childcare with Little People, I had to disappoint many parents because we were simply full. As a result, I opened a second branch at Wilhelminadorp in Best in 2013.

As I am a strong advocate of working intensively with preschool and primary schools, I encourage developments in the field of Integrated Child Centre (ICC).

Since September 2015, I started cooperation with the schools Br!cks (then De Paersacker) and De Heydonck. With this collaboration, our knowledge of the child is not lost when the child goes to primary school. We consult with school what is best for each child. Of course, I do everything in consultation with the parents, because communication with parents and cooperation is my top priority!!!!

My wish is also to expand childcare in Best to include home childcare. In this way, I want to help every parent who needs loving childcare in their own way.

I also want to make extracurricular care more and more child-oriented in terms of sports, games, music and homework supervision, if desired.

Last but not least... being English, I also like to playfully introduce the children to the language. I find that they really enjoy it.

Naturally, you would like to know more about me and our childcare services. Feel free to make an appointment for a personal talk and introduction. Only then will you know whether we can be a second home for your child(ren).

See you soon!
Debbie
