Yes, Little People is an accredited childcare centre that meets all quality criteria. This means that we are included in the national childcare register (LRK). Little People automatically sends an annual statement for the previous calendar year in January. This annual statement is issued once. You will need it for your annual tax return. So keep it well!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tHow do I cancel?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Cancel in writing: by letter or e-mail to info@kinderopvanglittlepeople.nl. The notice period is 1 month.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tDoes Childcare Little People also provide between-school care?\n\t\t\t\t\t

No. After-school childcare is the responsibility of the primary school your child attends. Our core partner, Kindcentrum Br!cks, operates a continuous timetable. There, children have lunch at school.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tHow do I arrange the transition from day care or playgroup to BSO?\n\t\t\t\t\t

You must register your child for BSO in good time. The contract does not continue automatically, but ends when your child turns 4.
Will your child turn 4 in or just before a holiday and would you like to continue the childcare during the holiday in question? Please inform our administration as soon as possible, preferably more than a year in advance due to the waiting list. You can send an e-mail to: info@kinderopvanglittlepeople.nl<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhen should I indicate that my child is going on holiday?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Even though we are flexible, we like to know a month in advance if you are going on holiday. Then we can take this into account with our planning\/deployment of staff.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if someone else comes to pick up my child?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Wij hechten uitermate grote waarde aan de veiligheid van uw kinderen. Daarom gelden strenge regels bij het brengen of ophalen door andere personen dan de ouders. Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen moet u dit tijdig (minimaal 1 dag van te voren) en persoonlijk doorgeven aan onze medewerkers. Bij voorkeur komt uw vervanger dan mee om even persoonlijk kennis te maken bij onze opvang, of toont een foto zodat we een ‘gezicht bij een naam’ kennen. Bij calamiteiten kunt u telefonisch doorgeven wie uw kind komt brengen of halen. U geeft altijd de naam op van degene die uw kind ophaalt. Ook geeft u aan wat de relatie tot het kind is (opa, oma, oom, tante, vriend of kennis van ouder). U geeft ook een (mobiel) telefoonnummer op van degene die uw kind komt ophalen. Degene die uw kind brengt of ophaalt moet zich verplicht legitimeren, zodat we kunnen controleren of we uw kind aan de juiste persoon overdragen. Bij twijfel of onduidelijkheid neemt de medewerker telefonisch contact met u op om na te vragen of uw kind overgedragen mag worden aan uw vervanger.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if my child needs medication during childcare?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Discuss this during the intake. Naturally, we will take it into account in childcare. If your child needs medication against allergies, you will receive a medication form at the intake where you have to sign that staff may administer the medication. You should always show the staff how to administer the medication.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if my child is ill?\n\t\t\t\t\t

You report your child sick by telephone between 7.00 and 9.00 am. You can report sick for the BSO by telephone until 2.30 pm. Please note: it is important that you report your child back to reception after the period of illness! You can do this by phone between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. or between 5 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.. You can also tell one of our staff members when picking up any siblings.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhen can my child not attend childcare?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Children with a fever (above 38\u00b0 C) should not come to the daycare centre.<\/p>\n

If your child has an infectious disease but no fever, please call the reception. You can discuss with one of our staff whether your child can come to reception. In some cases, we need to contact the GGD.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Does your child have a contagious disease and may come? Please inform us clearly so that we can inform parents. Sometimes we deal with risk groups such as pregnant women. It is therefore nice to be informed in time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat happens when an employee is sick?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Little People will then be responsible for replacing this employee.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if I have a complaint?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Of course, we make every effort to prevent complaints. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our care, please discuss this immediately with one of our staff members. This will prevent irritations and dissatisfaction from escalating unnecessarily. The staff member will always take your complaint seriously and will discuss it with the management. The management will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the complaint and propose an acceptable solution. Guidance on handling complaints is detailed in our complaints mechanism<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tHow does Childcare Little People handle screen use?\n\t\t\t\t\t

Television and tablets are used as a means to create calm from time to time. An educational programme is then shown, for example when the children are no longer sleeping.
